I stayed here 2 nights and I liked it. I found a fireplace in the reception area. Visited their restaurant The Foodworks Restaurant couple of times. Fantastic base for exploring Lancaster.

All in all a lovely quiet hotel and extra special stay. Location and staff were excellent, I liked that. Splendid view, a large balcony, great bed, too. Lots of food at breakfast, such as coffee and slices of fresh bread...

I liked the marvellous location and the staff was very, very nice. Room was luxury, with essentials required. Nice assortment of coffee and bread for breakfast. The service at this lovely central hotel was incredible. Besides, the parking was on site.

It seems like everything was fab for us, we would recommend it. It has convenient position. Apart from that, ashton hall garden centre was 10 minutes' drive away. Really enjoyed their on-site restaurant FoodWorks, it was good.
